What is soil??
The soil determines what kinds of different plants will grow in a certain area. Plants need soil to survive. Soil gives nutrients and food to the plants and it is very vital to have. Everything depends on soil because without good soil there won't be many trees and other vegetations. That means there won't be many living creatures living on the Earth. That is why the soil is very important to us.
The soil in the taiga is thin, has poor nutrients and is acidic. This means that not many trees or other vegetation grow there. That is why not many animals can live there. There are many more animals and vegetation in deciduous forests because of its fertile soil.
The soil is very bad because leaves of trees in the taiga doesn't fall off. So that means if the leaves don't fall off the soil will become bad and not very good for vegetation to grow.
